Raspberry Pi 3 error IPTables | Raspberry pi error – iptables v1.4.21: can’t initialize iptables table `nat’: Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?)

Was building a RPi3 machine and got the following error after an update.

Turns out nothing to worry about, just reboot the Pi.

Nextcloud 13 – 14 Error, Missing Appstore | nextcloud missing availible applications

I encountered an error yesterday which stopped the availible application being displayed on both my Nextcloud 13 and 14 installations.

It turns out to be a bug which can be fixed by inserting the following line into the installdir/config/config.php file.

The entire file should look something like this.

When attempting to push changes to your Git repo, its probably because your email address is not authenticating with Git.

If it still failing on that repo, you’ll need to reset.

 

Microsoft Outlook 2016 Constantly Synchronizing | office 2016 constantly syncing error hanging

I have a Lenovo Windows 10 Desktop highly spec’d and running Microsoft Office 2016 with Outlook connecting to Gmail, but sitting there hanging on synchronizing forever. During this time no new emails come in or sent out. 

A major problem was the user has a 120gb Mailbox which complicated the solution.

I spent around 8 hours yesterday reinstalling Office, Virus scanner, patching etc. Nothing worked,

File -> Options -> Advanced -> Send and Receive -> Send/Receive -.> Edit

Then un-tick “Get Folder Unread Count from Subscribed Folders”

Ubuntu 17.4 Server network not working after fresh install | ubuntu 17.4 server network not working

I just build a Ubuntu 17.4 Server on a Supermicro box, could not get network up and running.

Turns out I misconfigure the /etc/network/interfaces by describing the ethernet adapter as eth0. Should look something like this

You can obtain the correct naming by using the following command.

 

 

Raspberry Pi – warning [2017-01-11-raspbian-jessie.zip]: 76 extra bytes at beginning or within zipfile | raspberry pi error zip unzip tar xzvf 2017-01-11-raspbian-jessie.zip

Try to unzip the new Raspberry Pi Jessie image and fell onto the following error.

 

When trying to unzip using the GUI, it unzipped the file and created another one with a weird extension.

The fix? Using tar from the command line.
